12 years in the military, stationed from Italy to Alaska I have taken many guides on a wide variety of trips.  Sean James Guide Service flat out is a first class operation!  I was in California for only 2 weeks  I called Sean and we were off to an experience I will never forget. In the pouring rain at Casitas, Sean and I headed off with the only idea of hooking up with a "toad" or nothing.  He would line me up and explain where I need to place the bait, after a few followers he let me loose.  He tells me where to place the bait, what speed and the next thing I know I feel my rod almost get jerked out my hand - a few minutes later I land a 10lb toad !  Less than two hours later I stick another over 11lbs.  For my first time on Casitas (aka the hardest lake in Southern California to crack) I was impressed with Sean and how he set me up with success. Sean is the reason that less than a year later I moved to less than 2 miles from Casitas and landed 12 fish over 10lbs in my first year here.

I was fortunate enough to win the California B.A.S.S. Chapter Federation Region-7 Angler of the Year title this past season, 2004. Throughout the five-tournament season, I weighed in a total of nineteen bass; thirteen of them caught on Huddleston Deluxe swimbaits. I owe a great deal of gratitude to Sean James for opening my eyes to the incredible world of swimbait fishing. Even though Sean did not win any tournaments during the 2003 season, he won the Angler of the Year title because of several second place finishes, all of which were accomplished by throwing trout imitating swimbaits.

Thank you for everything you have taught me and for treating me like family. Thanks to you, I have opened my eyes to trying different things on the water. As a direct result of learning new techniques, I was able to take 1st place and big bass in my club tournament at lake Castaic. My big fish went 7.96 lbs and it was a blast.

We set out with hopes of catching a trophy largemouth bass at lake Casitas and although it was a lot of work, I ended up catching an 11 lb and a 6lb bass on the Huddleston swim bait. Both fish were the biggest that I have ever caught. The trip exceeded my wildest expectations and I will be booking another trip soon!

My wife and I are novices at bass fishing; Sean made us feel right at home and gave us an education that we were not expecting. We have gone out several times now and we have increased our fishing ability years beyond what we could have done by ourselves. We enjoy it so much in fact; we are going to purchase our own boat soon!

I had been disappointed several times after taking my son out with no success and I was ready to give up on fishing all together. I figured that I would try going out with a professional to see what I could do differently. I can't emphasize enough what a little knowledge will do to help increase your catch ratio and the fun you will have fishing. There is a lot more to bass fishing than I ever expected, but learning how, what, when and where is key. Thank you for making fishing something that my son and I can enjoy doing together.

Thank you for a memorable day of fishing, the digital pictures that you sent us came out awesome! I think that I will never hear the end of the 8lb bass that Ron caught, although I did catch more fish but who is counting, right? By the way, Ron's fish keeps on growing every time he tells the story. I am going to come back next year just to catch one that will shut him up! Thanks again.
